Qualifications Required of Membership To be a candidate for membership in the Bones Society of Florida, Inc. the applicant must be: 1) Employed by a solo practitioner orthopaedic surgeon who is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons or is eligible for membership in the Academy. Those individuals who do not meet this criteria will be denied membership. 2) Employed by a group in which at least one orthopaedic surgeon in the group is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons or is eligible for membership in the Academy. Those individuals who do not meet this criteria will be denied membership. 3) Employed managers of medical groups which include orthopaedics in their services are eligible for membership. I understand my membership is conditional on meeting the qualifications mentioned above.
